Scott Hughey started as the new District Conversationist for Bear Lake on June 22nd. Scott has worked for NRCS since 2001 starting as a technician. Scott enjoys most outdoor activities, including backpacking, canoeing, and hunting. Scott and his wife, Melissa, have been married for 8 years and have two sons, ages 4 and 2.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) provides leadership in a partnership effort to help people conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources and environment.
Helping People Help the Land
The Natural Resouces Conservation Service is the federal government agency that works hand-in-hand with people to conserve natural resources on private land. Using our scientific and technical expertise, and our partnerships with Conservation Districts and others, we help conserve and enhance all natuarl resources on private lands.
