Full sun, sandy soils only
Native to Manistee County and the Great Lakes region. A very durable cover for dunes and eroding sandy spots with a spreading root system. Can be planted in harshest dune conditions. Will provide cover and control sand movement within a year. Plant spacing recommendations are 18” x 18” for severely eroded areas or 24” x 24” for other areas.

Full shade, range of soils
A carpeting plant that makes an interesting leaf pattern and has white spike flowers. Grows to a height of 6 to 12 inches. Probably the best ground cover for deep shade. Recommended planting is within 9 to 12 inches of each plant.
